Field Trip

The fifth grade filed trip to Kauffman Stadium and then to the collage basket ball experience on Oct 15 was great. At Kauffman stadium we used our math skills for stations. For example, we got to measure De Jesus bat. After that we went to the science section. There we had to make a hypothesis on where the ball would go depending on the speed or type after pitch; the angle of the bat, and the weather. Next we went we went to the language arts section. There we made up sentences that have to do with baseball. After that we finally get to take the tour. We get to go in places where you never could have gone in unless you are a VIP. We got to go in the visitor’s dugout and the visitor’s clubhouse. Next went tot the College Basket ball experience. I got to admit that was the best field trip I ever been to. There you could play NCAA 10 on Xbox 360, you could be a sports caster and watch yourself on T.V., shoot hoops, and even practice dunking. That was the best field trip ever!
